The Problem

Any cyber attack that can be perpetrated by clicking on a suspicious link or downloading from questionable internet sources can be initiated through compromised hardware.  This means that no active measure on the part of the user is needed for these hardware attacks to wreak havoc on crucial systems.

These impostor chips can do anything from failing early, leaving you without a critical asset,

or collect and steal data, or even outright control or destroy your device.

Think about our critical infrastructure, like water and energy.  Now, defense assets: fighter jets, battleships, tanks, satellites, computers.

These vulnerabilities allow rogue actors and peer nations to pilfer, control, and destroy our most important assets without ever needing to pierce network defenses.

The Status Quo

As of today, the standard method for closing these vulnerabilities is to hire expensive consultants with rare knowledge sets that help fabricate bespoke defenses directly into board design.

The inaccessibility and expense of these consultants, along with insufficient verification though manufacturing once boards leave the consultant's control, mean the vast majority of electronic equipment goes unprotected.

The Solution: PCB Shield

PCB Shield offers in-situ, real-time monitoring of active boards with little to no impact on processing speed.

PCB Shield severely limits or eliminates damage to critical components done by hardware attacks. Installed before the device ever reaches the user, it silently protects against malicious attacks while safeguarding functionality and data.

Acting as a Police force on the board, our device monitors, counters, and issues alerts when attacks are performed without sacrificing processing speed, thereby closing the gap between the experts and your security.

The Methods

PCB Shield is an all-in-one, plug and play device.  Designed to be simple to integrate into existing workflow, like any other component, PCB Shield provides fast, clean hardware protection.  It can be simply adapted to any board design and the price makes it accessible to everyone.

Using advanced AI and cutting edge micro-sensors, our device carries out a hardware security version of a kill chain. It finds issues, fixes processes errors, tracks unauthorized behavior, targets hostile actions, engages enemy worms and backdoors, assesses systems and alerts users to attacks.

Three defenses in one package.

1. Trusted IP (TIP) Onboard Monitor uses a machine learning program to detect and stop hardware Trojans and denial of function.

2. Side-channel Protection Module features enhanced micro sensors (thermal/E&M), to detect and obfuscates emission radiation preventing IP theft and data corruption.

3. Authentication IP is a user-controlled mark connecting the PCB to only intended devices, stopping IP theft and data corruption that the sensors can not stop.
